Deceit authentically recreates the characteristic noise signatures of four classic playback devices and media formats: VHS players, vacuum tube amplifiers, cassette decks, and vinyl turntables. Each noise profile has been meticulously sampled and edited to capture the unique sonic fingerprint of its source medium.

Deceit offers versatile sound design possibilities. Used for Sound Effects it can generate prominent device-specific noise for dramatic effect, perfect for period-accurate productions, retro aesthetics, or transition elements. Used as Ambient Texture it can apply subtle amounts to impart the warmth and character of analog playback, adding depth and nostalgic coloration to modern recordings.
